TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Rated 1B; mostly well-maintained sidewalks and cobblestone streets. Suitable for most strollers. Wheelchairs may have difficulty. NOTE: Special “TOP TEN” stamp at the Visitor Center checkpoint.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: The Castillo de San Marco, San Sebastian Winery, Flagler College, Lightner   Museum, Alligator Farm, St Augustine Lighthouse and more.

HISTORY: Founded in 1565, the City is the oldest permanent European settlement in North America. A city made for walking. Remarkably preserved, this old city is filled with architectural landmarks, beautiful gardens, quaint shops and galleries. The narrow brick streets and walkways, stone walls and overhanging balconies reflect the European influence.

DIRECTIONS: I-95 take Exit-311 From the North turn Right; from the South turn Left to go NE onto SR -207. Drive 5.7 miles to US Hwy 1. Turn Left onto US Hwy 1. Drive 1.4 miles to traffic signal at West Castillo Dr. Turn Right on West Castillo Dr. Drive 0.3 mile to traffic light at San Marco Ave. Turn Left on San Marco Ave. Drive 0.4 mile to Ocean Ave. Turn Right onto Ocean Ave and drive 0.1 mile to the first entrance into parking lot. Turn Right into parking lot.
