TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Rated 1C; moderately easy; un-cut curbs and hilly streets with no sidewalks make route unsuitable for wheelchairs/strollers.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Lake Dora, numerous downtown restaurants and shops, Renningers Antiques & Farmers Market.
HISTORY: Rising on wooded terraces to a height of 184 feet above sea level, Mt. Dora overlooks Lake Dora.A city of lovely historic buildings, antique shops, historic train ride, festivals, parks and unique shops & restaurants.
DIRECTIONS: From 1-4 take Exit 101c (SR46) Drive West approximately 18.5 miles to North Highland St. in Mt. Dora. Turn Left onto N. Highland and drive 4 blocks to traffic signal at East 5th Ave. Turn Left onto East 5th and drive about 0.5 mile to Donnelly St. Turn Left on Donnelly and park in the public parking garage located just before crossing the railroad tracks. Parking is free. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE LAKESIDE INN PARKING LOT WHICH IS RESERVED FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY.
