  TIMES: Daily 8:00 am to 5 pm. Park Admission is $2.00 per person. Free admission on Wednesdays. For your safety, walk only during daylight hours.


  TRAIL DESCRIPTION:  Trail is 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) in length and rated 1+. The route takes you through a beautiful park, camping areas, nature trails, estuaries, and marshes. Skidaway is a scenic barrier island.

    DIRECTIONS:  From I-95:
Take exit 94 (Highway 204/Abercorn St). Drive east on Abercorn to Montgomery Crossroads (10.4 miles). Turn right on Montgomery. Drive 1.4 miles to Waters Ave and turn right. Drive for approx 5 miles Waters Ave changes to Diamond Causeway). After crossing Moon River and Intracoastal Waterway, take first left on Skidaway Island (between two churches) and drive to the Park Office.

   AWARDS and FEES:  “A” AWARD (Pertains to all Events) The“A” Award (includes IVV credit) is an enamel hat pin depictinga ship “The SAVANNAH”, or a similar patch. You are eligible to purchase either award at ANY of the Events. You need to complete only one of the Events to purchase the Award. The Awards are $4 each. “B” Awards (includes IVV credit) may be purchased at $1. Credit & Non-Credit Only is $3 for each walker. Events are held rain or shine.

  WAIVERS: All Participants must sign waiver in log book each time event is repeated.
