  START/FINISH: Courtyard by Marriott - 3435 North Atlantic Ave. (A1A) Cocoa Beach, FL.

  TIMES: Dawn to Dusk - Daily.

  TRAIL DESCRIPTION: 1+ Moderately easy. Walk on pavement, hard packed and soft sand. Walk is along beach and river with few shady places. Use of sunscreen and protective clothing is encouraged.

  LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: The Johnnie Johnson Nature trail, which is part of the trail, is open from 7am daily to dark. A variety of eateries, shops, hotels and motels.

  HISTORY: Cocoa Beach is known for its superb beach where you can enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. Walk a nature trail and river front residential area. Route follows park trails, beach and town sidewalks. Located on the Central East Coast of Florida, “along Florida’s scenic and Historic Space Coast.”

  DIRECTIONS: From North on I-95 take Exit #205A East onto SR528. travel East on SR528 which turns into A1A. Continue traveling South on A1A to start point. From South on I-95, take Exit #201 East onto SR520. travel East on SR520 to A1A. Turn Right (South) on A1A. From both directions, Courtyard by Marriott is on the Left side (ocean side) of A1A, approximately 0.5 miles South of A1A and SR520 intersection.
